New York State’s CLCPA (Climate Leadership and Community Protection Act) is its landmark Climate Leadership law, signed into law in July 2019. Some of the targets set out by NY State include reducing emissions by at least 85% below 1990 levels and achieving 100% Zero-emission electricity by 2040.
